Meet Carly

After getting a BBA in Marketing in 2002, Carly chose to work with her mom, Lolly Burns, in her very busy real estate business. Carly got licensed in 2003 and has been selling real estate ever since. Lolly is highly regarded in this industry so Carly feels like she has learned from the best! Carly married a hometown boy, Steven Thomas who owns a local business, Lewis Electric Motors and Pumps. Together, they have three boys who they love spending time with. As a family, you can find them fishing or hunting or hanging out at the beach just about every weekend, depending on the season.

Carly and her family are active members of St. Albans Episcopal Church. She is a member of the Harlingen Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Carly is the immediate past President for the Harlingen Board of Realtors.  Carly is an alumni of Leadership Harlingen and Harlingen Citizens Police Academy. She is a past president of the St. Albans Episcopal Day School board, was a committee chair for a capital campaign at her church, served 4 years on the Keep Harlingen Beautiful Board, founder of 100 Women Who Give a Damn in Harlingen and is an active volunteer for all things in her community. Carly’s favorite part of real estate is helping first time home buyers. It gives her great satisfaction that she can hold the hand of a first time buyer through the entire process and that they put their trust in her and her capabilities. Carly is eager to please her buyers and sellers and always looks forward to meeting new people.
